Last night while driving home from a birthday dinner, listening intently to Rusty Humphries talking to Jack Cashill about a most interesting topic, three deer appeared right before my eyes. I hit one of them in the rump, hopefully, I got the worst end of the deal. Last time I hit something it was devastating to all concerned. Next time I'll follow my own advise...Ask St. Francis to keep the animals off the road while I'm driving.

We have at least three umbrellas....so naturally they were all left at home while I spent a rainy Monday looking and feeling like a drowned rat.

Shoe fly...

1. Ordered 3 pairs of shoes (free shipping)...checked to make sure they could be returned to the store.

2. It was hard but finally decided to keep the red ones.

3. Boxed the other two pairs up and set them aside to return.

Three months pass...

4. Phone rings..."I'm cleaning the garage and found two pair of shoes." he says.

"What size?" I enquire.

"8½, they're brand new."

"Bring them in."

Even I can't figure this one out.

Not until I had gotten into bed, did I realize I had forgotten to use my coupon...no wonder I can't sleep at night!

another grocery store incident

While shopping for groceries with my usual side kicks, I picked out a nice half watermelon, and was gleefully showing it off to them, when all of a sudden it flew out of my hands onto the floor...thud!
